kidney stones
I have AS and recurrent iritis. I have had two kidney stone attacks this week. Could all this be related?

I'm not a doctor
I;m not a doctor so I can't comment. there are disease processes which have kidney damage from NSAID use but the 'kidney stone' stuff is beyond me. Nephritis is also a component of some autoimmune disease processes. You should ask this question of your opthalmologist as well as your primary care physician.
wish I could be of more help,

Kidney Stones
I have had iritis since I was about 21 - 22, now 37, I had my 1st
kidney stone about a year ago. Terrible experience, DR said
it was a form of vitamin C.

Ask Dr Foster
Please post a note to DR Foster about Vit. C, Kidney stones and uveitis.
I do know that excessive intake of Vit C can cause one to have a renewed bout of uveitis from information given by Dr Foster in the past.
so, if you had uveitis in the past and then developed a renewed bout of uveitis while taking more than the daily suggested amount by the FDA like in 500 IU or more then this could be the cause of the renewed inflammation.
http://www.uveitis.org then go to ASK DR FOSTER forum. you will have to join in order to post there.
wish you the best
