Hi again
After my last examination (which was all clear) of iritis but the specialist touched my right eye with one of the test equipment and I felt like I had arc flash in that eye since
now I feel the on come of iritis in that eye I'm not blameing the specialist as the 2nd bout started after I felt a bit of dust in the eye first maybe my eyes dont like being tampered with or react badly to forien intrusion dust ,dirt etc ?????
regards
Gary

uveitis
Gary,
did the doctor press in on your eye just behind the iris to see this area known as the pars plana and ciliary body??? did he mention 'snowbanks' or exudate? how about 'snowballs?' I have what is known as pars planitis, a form of intermediate uveitis.
in order to see this kind of inflammtion they have to press in on the Sclera (the white part of the eye) it makes my eyes flare and I now ask the doctor to not do this very often.
if you are a welder (arc flash) please protect your eyes with proper eye shields. your retina is susceptible to enough damage from uveitis and it doesn't need the trauma of a burn to the retina. any form of trauma to the eye can cause a flare of uveitis.
where do you live? perhaps we can suggest an uveitis specialist for a consultation.
wish you the best!
Sincerely,
Mike Bartolatz
