Most efficient Time of day to take oral Prednisone?

This may be a silly question but does it make sense to take Prednisone tablet before bedtime so that the steroids get to work and the inflammation is being addressed during the sleeping hours?

I have been taking it first thing in the morning and this just occurred to me that perhaps it is better to take at bedtime and have those idle hours to work positively against the inflammation. Or does it not matter at all?

I am also on Lotemax 1 drop each waking hour.

Marilyn, they told me morning. But, i couldn't tolerate one big dose, so i take 2/3 in morning and 1/3 6 hrs. Later. For example 5 mg. morning and 2.5 mg. around 3 pm.
