Welcome to the group. Have you had the HlA B27 test for AS? If not, i would recommend getting it so you know one way or the other. My husband gets anterior iritis from AS, but not chronic. He has had it 4 times in last 4 years. Sometimes it takes 3-4 months for a flare to clear. Are you on Durezol? Sometimes you need oral steroids too, or an injection. If all this fails immunosuppressants. My hubby is on celebrex.
There is a list of uveitis specialists on this site. Maybe try one of those in your area. You are not alone. I have bilateral posterior uveitis from Hashi thyroid and psoriasis they think. Been on durezol plus oral steroids since Nov. 23 rd. Getting better:) i see one of the recommended specialists from this site.
