I have a permanent synechiae. What does that mean for my next iritis episode? My episodes are quite strong. My eye does not seem to dilate as much as normal eye. Does dilation with drugs eliminate risk of synechiae or just discourage it?
Is cyclopentolate the best drug to keep on hand for
Emergency iritis episode? Thanks.

dilating drugs or even cocaine applied directly to the eye can sometimes break the adhesion depending on how bit it is. sometimes one has to wait until cataract surgery is done to break this adhesion.

what is the 'underlying cause' of your uveitis?
