yes they are linked through the IL23R receptor that causes inflammation through the IL17 pathway of inflammation. if you have failed methotrexate then the IL23R blocking drug Stelara may stop the recurrent nature of this. you are very young and may well have a VERY long history of uveitis which can cause changes to the back of the eye with Cystoid macular edema and retinal membrane formation. the constant use of steroids are cumulative and often lead to glaucoma and cataract formation with blinding potential if not stopped early on in the processes.

No, not young. Lol. I am 60 and this is my first bout of uveitis. Specialist thinks eyes look good overall, thankfully. seeing Dr. tabutt from the approved list in Chicago.
