Newbie: Iritis with very cloudy vision - how bad is it?

Thanks for the great forum. I stumbled upon it when researching about the very cloudy vision that happened this morning (see detailed history below).
The cloudy/blurry vision is very disturbing, just wondering if somebody can shed some light on the right course of treatment. Also, what's the prognosis, any chance of vision loss? thanks a lot!
History:
Lower back pain over the past 10-15 years
Feb 8-12, 2013: Iritis first time , self (mis-) diagnosed as conjunctivitis, following a common cold (Feb 4-17th) caused by cold wind/draft, proximity to other sick people, too much hiking (23K steps a day), volcanic smog (was on Oahu, Hawaii at a time). Started with inflamed left eye, then spread to right eye overnight. The eyes were very red, but I thought it was due to conjunctivitis - everything went went away on it's own in 4 days, didn't see a specialist there. Treatment: cough drops, hot tea, lots of sleep, multivitimans, tussin cough & chest de-congestant.
2015: May 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th: work in the garden, lots of wind and dust, stress, lack of sleep, going to bed late (1-2pm)
May 28th, 2015, 5pm on: noticed redness in left eye
May 30th, 5:30pm: used over the counter anti-redness drops
June 1st, 10am: went to see the optometrist and got Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension USP (1%), used 1 drop every hour for 12 hours, then 1 drop every 2 hours
June 3rd, 10am: went to see the optometrist again. Intraocular pressure is OK.
June 4th: no change in symptoms, saw optometrist again, got eye dilation solution (Bausch & Lomb Cyclopentolate Hydrochloried Ophthalmic Solution, USP, 1%), 1 drop 4 times a day. Intraocular pressure is at 17.
June 4th, 9pm: stayed outdoors and got a little cold, it worsened the symptoms
June 5th, 7pm: stopped using Prednisolone and eye dilation solution due to extreme burning sensation in the eye. Ate 10 cough drops and 5 cups of hot tea instead, thinking the inflammation was caused by plugged-up left nostril
June 6th, 7am: woke up with dull pain in the eye (no burning sensation any more) and very cloudy/blurry vision (can only recognize shapes of objects). Sweating during the night.
June 6th, 10am: went to the same optometrist, he restarted me on Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension USP (1%) (1 drop every hour for 48 hours) and Bausch & Lomb Cyclopentolate Hydrochloried Ophthalmic Solution, USP, 1%), 1 drop 4 times a day. Intraocular pressure is at 18. The doctor referred to see the Ophthalmologist first thing on Monday (in 48 hours).
June 6th, 8pm: no more burning sensation, less light sensitivity, extreme cloudiness remains. Just spoke to the optometrist, he suggested I go to Urgent Care now to see ophtalmologist.
