did anyone mention epiretinal membranes as a cause of the 'scar' toward the center of your eye? these usually form over an area of Cystoid Macular Edema, a pocket of fluid between the retina and the choroid from fluid leaking from microscopic blood vessels (not blood but more like plasma). when CME occurs it causes blur of vision.
