I am 50 years old and just recovered from my first (and I hope my only) bout with iritis. I was only pred forte for about 8 weeks and the information I obtained on this site during this period was invaluable. Although it was alarming to learn the potential seriousness of this disease, I was gratified to know help and support was available here. Although I just "lurked" during the acute phase of my iritis, even though recovered I find questions still remain which I will post in the discussion section.
