hi from Arizona
I woke up one Sunday morning and for the past 3 years I have lived with Iritis. I am at the point in my life where I want to start having children and this will mean getting off of all the meds. I would like to hear what your experiences are and were during your pregnancy.

Re: hi from Arizona
welcome to the group
often uveitis will go away in the third trimester but often returns with a vengence a couple of months after the baby is born,
being in arizona, was Valley fever tested for as a potential cause of the uveitis? the HLA B27 gene?
steroids are the only meds recommended for use during pregnancy by way of topical or injectible meds NOT ORAL!
with your long standing uveitis, have you had a consultation with a Uveitis Specialist? if not I suggest that you get one of these very rare specialists on your team to help you get a steroid sparing approach to treatment going once the baby is born.
