Richard,
Welcome to the group!
the floaters you are describing sound like you have vitritis involved where cells and fibrin clump in fluid inside the middle of the eye. they are most often associated with intermediate uveitis or posterior uveitis. I highly recommend that you get an Opthalmological exam with a slit lamp and hand held prisms to look for signs of uveitis other than just iritis. you can have more than just one part of the eye inflammed and if this is what is happening, it can lead to significant loss of vision or blindness as uveitis is the third leading cause of preventable blindess in the developed world. there is a list of Specialists at http://www.uveitis.org located in th PATIENT INFORMATION section of the site where you can look for one of these very rare specialist who have done extensive fellowship level training in Ocular Immunology near you.

wish you the very best,
Mike Bartolatz
