this talks about the new calcineurin inhibitor, Luveniq and the application for use in children from 2 on up by the manufacturer to authorities in Europe even though it HASN"T been approved for use in anyone. this is a VERY promising new drug. it will be the First drug solely developed for use in Uveitis patients. it has been very successful in control of uveitis in PHASE III studies. hopefully it will be approved in the First Quarter of 2009 for use in adults in the USA and perhaps Europe.
