Does anyone know if you have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) are you more prone to bouts of iritis?
I'm sure i read somewhere that people with PCOS can suffer from eye problems.

I have seen PCOS mentioned anecdotally by patients with uveitis. I don't know if there is a direct link between the two. I did do a google search of literature which came up negative.
the hormonal problems with PCOS might well contribute to renewed bouts of uveitis. you have allot going on medically with this condition.
I noted in your introduction that you live in the UK. I suggest that you contact one of the specialsts there in the UK who are ocular immunologists for input. you can get the BEST doctors by going to http://www.uveitis.org and then going to the PATIENT information section of the site and then accessing the SPECIALIST list. the one that I most often suggest is Mr William Ayliffe in the London vicinity.
Wish you the very best,
mike
