Amsler GRids of various color combinations

the above link has several Amsler grids for you to use to see if various things are present with your vision. they can detect changes in color perception too.
fro me the Black background with the white lines and teh X patern in the middle aids me to keep concentration on the white dot and thus I can see the distortion of other portions of the chart better. I have only used the white background with just the dot in the middle in the past and never knew that other types of charts were available.
I also have a problem with the red lines on the black background as they 'wash out'. I have had problems with the color RED for many years with it appearing allot darker out of my left eye.
