this article is written by a patient with LYME disease and another pathogen also transmitted by this tick. the overlap made diagnosis extremely difficult but this can occur in about 1/3 of lyme disease according to the article. other tick borne pathogens are mentioned and all of them can cause uveitis. a great read about a mother and a son both with this potentially deadly combination.
