uveitus and education

My 10 year old son has suffered from uveitus since the age of 3. We are recently experiencing difficulties with school work. Any information we can share with teachers or suggestions as to how we can support him in this area?

Uveitis a guide for Teachers and Parents

Post by Mike Bartolatz »

Dear Anne,
yes a brochure on this topic: Uveitis: A Guide for Teachers and Parents, has just been developed at Harvard University and the Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Service at MEEI by C Stephen Foster and the Parent's online support group.

I encourage you to print a couple of copies for yourself and to give to your doctor's and to your child's teachers and School administrators.

Join the support group for Parents of Kids with Uveitis/iritis at http://pub24.ezboard.com/buveitissupportmeei

also join the discussion in the FAQ forum. I have placed information at the top of the list of topics just for people like you who are new to some of this stuff.

print those articles too!

Wish you the very best!
Sincerely,
Mike Bartolatz
