iritis body aches and extreme fatigue
I just wanted to know if anyone else suffers from these symptoms when they have a flare up. I have had ongoing iritis flareups for 10 years did blood workup rheumtoid arthritis showed up but the specilaist said i did not have it. no answers from anyone. very tired of all this .

uveitis is often related to systemic autoimmune disease as well as to pathogens.
often medical tests need to be redone from time to time to see if there is a connection to a systemic illness. one needs to have symptoms present at the time of testing sometimes though and this is the reason for having them repeated. contact your Primary care physician, tell him your symptoms and then go from there. print out information on some of the causes of uveitis such as HLA B27 and the enteropathic arthropathies. there are over 85 things directly linked to uveitis so you should educate your medical team as few doctors are aware of what causes iritis or what it can be related to.
