So, after 25 outbreaks over 8 years, my right eye has decided to give up the ghost. I now have double vision in my right eye in addition to feeling like I am looking through a frosted window.
Has anyone had this experience? How did you deal with it?
PS. We don't have an ocular immunologist here in the deep south, so my doctor is consulting with one and setting up a telemedicine consult this month.

Re: Double Vision
double vision might be from optic neuritis. what is the color of the area surrounding your optic nerve? if it isn't pink, it might be optic neuritis and then you would need IV steroids. get to a neurologist.
do you have thyroid disease? this too can cause double vision. you could have an MRI with contrast done to look for swelling of tissue surrounding the eye that could cause this as well.
any chance of getting to DR Russel Read in Birmingham Alabama, dr Lewis at Baylor in Texas, DR Janet Davis in Texas, DR Quan Nguyen in Nebraska?
wish you the best,
Mike
