this research indicates that a modified steroid tablet taken at bedtime releases the steroid 4 hours later resulting in less morning stiffness and a reduction of IL 6 by 30% compared to regular steroid tablet in rheumatoid arthritis patients.

it would be interesting to see if this would modify inflammation in Ocular inflammatory disease where IL 6 is present
