risks for autoimmune disease and eye complications

Post by Mike Bartolatz » Wed May 16, 2007 7:08 pm

the above article talks about autoimmune disease processes to include, Sjogren's syndrome, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Rheumatoid arthritis and Scleroderma. it stresses the need to systemically treat the underlying cause of eye inflammation even if the only symptoms present are in the eye as if the eye is extremely effected and it isn't treated systemically then complications to these autoimmne disease processes can become exacerbated soon after.
