Iritis

I woke at 4 am with severe eye pain and a lot of tearing in my right eye. I could not stand the light, it was the worst pain! I was lucky to see my eye doc. that same day and was diagnosed with iritis. I am being treated with prendnisolone and dialating drops. I was seen today again, 3 days later and no change so far. I also had a bunch of blood work today to rule out any auto-immune disorder. How long will this eye thing take???

I don't know! it could be a couple of weeks and never occur again. OR, it might come back in a couple of weeks or a couple of years or every other month. It is impossible to say at this point.
