hi mike, just wanted to give you an update. i got in touch with dr. kempen's office and went in for an emergency visit this morning. dr. kempen is away so i saw other doctors. they say i have blepharitis which may be causing more dryness, etc and they told me to clean my eyelashes with baby shampoo....

hi mike, thanks for the info - i had never heard of FML before... i called one of dr. foster's fellows and he encouraged to change my artificial tears to see if that is the problem. if not then he is going to try switching the lotemax or the travatan z.... i switched my artificial tears to preservat...

george, mike and everyone else out there tonight, thank you george for the info on AS and the websites. i have no idea if this is the case for me but i am going to make an appt with my rheumatologist and see what i have and have not been tested for... i will mention AS and be sure to ask about HLA-B...
