Re: Low dose prednisone

Welcome to the group. yes your situation often occurs when the herpes virus is involved in uveitis. often a drop a day is needed to help keep the iritis quiet along with the antiviral medication. DON"T stop the antiviral. if the virus comes out of hibernation it can get to the back of the eye, ...

Re: New member

Thanks Matilda for the update. is Dr Foster aware of the elevated MS potential from your current doctor? you can contact him anytime now that you have seen him regarding this type of thing. I assume he gave you his email address etc.

Re: 1st attach of Uveitis in 10 years ??

I don't know about silent reflux. I have hiatal hernia which causes reflux problems. a GI specialist might be warranted to check out your GI tract to make sure everything is Ok.

see if Remicade could be used instead of the Enbrel which isn't working now.

I don't know. I do know that Enbrel can CAUSE uveitis however. better TNF A blocking drugs for cases of uveitis and AS would be Remicade or Humira. do you have skin rash or GI problems along with the Ankylosing spondylitis? had infection or inflammation preceeding the renewed uveitis? wish you the b...

Re: Nervous about MTX...hlab27+

GI problems can also occur when you are HLA B27 pos...
