Re: Uveitis returns post cataract surgery
Oral steroids are likely for the posterior inflammation. I don't think you get pan uveitis from trauma to eye but I could be wrong. Posterior uveitis is site threatening and needs vigilance. You have a right to always be paranoid About blurry vision and floaters when you have a history of posterior ...

Re: Humira + Uveitis
Dr fosters site is better or oliviasvision. Some doctors and studies say that there is nothing unique about hlab27 iritis. You are just as likely to have difficult Iritis
If you are idiopathic. I was never tested at all and have difficult Iritis.

Re: Uveitis returns post cataract surgery
Oral steroids are going to cause cataracts faster than drops. The cataract was obviously caused by steroids and/or inflammation. A normal cataract takes years to progress while iritis cataract develops in months. Ie subcapsular cataract. It's possible that the puck caused the iritis. Google traumati...

Re: Uveitis returns post cataract surgery
Uveitis is a vague term. I assume u have iritis. Waking up with pain should not happen. U should have Watched fir red and looked for cells through pinhole. Most people don't get a cataract that fast unless you took hourly drops for a year. Four drops per day is nit much. Your eyes are blurry because...

Re: New Diagnosis, need help!
Most iritis does not have a systematic disease associated with it. Cataracts are not a big deal. If you have pressure problems you might try drugs that modify immune system.

Re: Lens stuck to pupil
Iris sticks to lens capsule, not the lens. Capsule not replaceable. I have no pain when mine sticks. Causes damage. Bad. Mine stuck while dilated but released by itself. I rushed to emergency when mine stuck but doc said go home. These idiot docs butcher iritis treatment.

Re: Acuvail for iritis
Reproxalap sounds promising. I'm on one drop pred too. Doc says forever. You might try every second day. One drop is common strategy. My doc mentioned scarring of lens capsule as being bad . I had scarring with no pain this Christmas because substitute doc said I was clear when I was not. I know it'...
