Has anyone tried an NSAID drop called Prolensa for maintenance? I saw uveitis specialist yesterday and both my eyes are still quiet. Relieved.
We are trying Prolansa one drop daily to see if it keeps things quiet. Off the durezol. Anyone else try this? This drug is similar to xibrom.
Update: Prolensa not working for me. As it turns our it contains sulphites. I can't drink red wine due to sulphites. Get instant headache. Going to have to try something else. Anyone here have luck with other NSAID drops? How bout Nevanac?

Re: Prolensa
Hi, thanks for asking have not been on here for a few days. My visit with doctor on Thursday went well. I only had 1 - 2 cells and my vision has improved a lot. I am still not totally back to 100% vision, as I still have that cloudy thing going on. My doctor said that I could stop the Cyclogyl drops completely but wanted me to remain on the Prednisone and Lotemax as before (20 mg. Pred and Lotemax drops every hour)...until all of the inflammation was gone, and then plan on tapering. I have another follow-up this coming Thursday. I still can't read up-close with the right eye but I am happy for the improvement. Hopefully the cloudy sensation will go away once all of the inflammation is completely gone. It's been about 3 days since last using Cyclogyl.
Hope all is well with you too!

Sounds like good improvement! I am stiil tapering. Down to 8 mg. prednisone now. Hard to wean off the steroid...must go very slow to prevent flare.
