Can someone explain this ...i have bilateral iritis. In my worst eye, the left, in certain lighting I see a pulsating flutering in my outer peripheral. What is this and why? Is this common with iritis?

This was not vascular pulsation, it was retina flashes. No tear thankfully.

this is possible detaching vitreous or optic neuritis. if you start seeing a lot of larger BLACK dots, it could be bleeding so get to the hospital. so that laser can be done to seal off the bleeding.
if you see loss of vision it could be developing Cystoid macular edema with the fluttering or epiretinal membrane formation also get to you ophthalmologist for evaluation/

diabetes can also cause the fluttering of vision, I develop this when my glucose level drops too low and I have to eat sugar to get it back to normal, above 80.

No Mike, it is just posterior uveitis. Was seen again yesterday.( gphave had 8 dilated exams in last 6 weeks), No retinal tears, no optic neuritis. It is the inflammation. But, things much quieter now, thankfully.
