Hi I got my first bout of Iritis about 3 years ago, I went to a gp who tried to treat me for conjunctavitis, then I went to anther doctor who told me it was Iriitis and sent me to a specialist.
This morning I woke up and my eyes are burning and I have a familiar pain behind them, there is no redness yet, but Im sure its back, can a normal Optomatrist diagnos me or do I need to contact my specialist?

It depends on the optometrist. Saying that, i would try to get in ASAP to the specialist who treated you in the past.

I would contact an opthalmoloigst as testing might be needed at this time to see why you are once again having uveitis.
