Should I be worried right now?
I have been dealing with 9 months of a flare-its not very painful, not like my short bouts in the beginning of having bi-annual flare ups. I just can’t seem to see very well for 9 months. Everything is foggy. The last few weeks I have been dealing with ptosis on and off, better and worst. Today, I stood up, my affected eye vision went completely black. Thinking it was just a dizzy spell perhaps because I am thirsty or what not. So, I drink lotsa water, now every time I stand up, my left eye blacks out for about 5 seconds, my good eye is fine. It is not like a curtain that some may describe, more like coming from a dark room to a light room....adjustment to light. It has happened several times today after bending over, standing up, entering a new room....please help.

You should get in to see an Ophthalmologist right away if you get any type of vision loss or changes that are sudden like that. Don’t ever take a chance !
