Update posterior bilateral uveitis

Just wanted to post an update in case it might help someone else. Diagnosed Nov. 16 th. With bilateral posterior iritis, Was on durezol, and oral pred. Off durezol and weaning off oral pred. Eyes have been quiet since Dec. 28 th.

Saw uveitis specialist today. She did a visual field test and OCT on both eyes. She said i have lost no vision.Was able to read 20/20 today in each eye.

So thankful for the good care I received. I am blessed to retain my vision. I see doc again in 5 weeks and will now taper off remaining pred 1 mg/ week over the next 6 weeks. The hope is no flares.
