My aunt has ben diagnosed with lupus. I have been diagnosed with iritis, for which an underlying cause has not been found. I would be, as would my aunt, willing to participate in a genetic study. sudden leg swelling

I am fairly new to this emtire process. I have had two bouts with iritis, and have not been formally diagnosed with any underlying cause. however, I am suffering with sudden swelling in my legs. I was wondering if any one could help with this.

Mike, Thanks for the welcome and the recommendation on the doc. I have had milder attacks of what I am assuming has been the iritis in the past. This one was just finally bad enough to send me to the opthamolgist. I will get further info and diagnoses from him today, and look forward to talking more...
